In Lofer and in Salzburger Land there are not just the usual 4 seasons - here there are 5 seasons! The farmers’ autumn is a time of giving thanks and celebrating. More than 200 events are put on here. 

In the time from mid-August until the beginning of November you have the opportunity to witness the traditional rural life at handicraft demonstrations, hikes, guided tours through the cottage garden, cooking lessons, harvest festivals, the annual drive of cattle down the mountain and traditional customs events.
